Our Focus
Prayer and Worship
At Foundations, we’ve cultivated a culture of prayer and worship from the beginning. Just about every student prays every night for each other and each other’s requests.
Small Groups
We urge the students to take advantage of the deep fellowship following sermon time. They often do so by sharing testimonies and making commitments to the Lord. Then, we work to see them hold each other to those precious commitments. Screened youth leaders lead small group discussions.
Preaching the Word
This pattern feels too trite to be distinctive to a youth ministry. But over the years, we’ve invested a lot into this pattern. It’s now a passion for us to go verse-by-verse and chapter-by-chapter through books of the Bible. Many students don’t have anything close to the general Bible knowledge their leaders possess. However, after regular study throughout the year, they bless each other and their leaders with incredible insights from God’s word.
We also have fun on a regular basis!
